The Roman termae from 1st century BC, as well as the remains of the walls and mosaics discovered by archaeological excavations, have been preserved and are available to tourists.
The Museum of the Town of Vis is rich with ancient Greek and Roman artefacts especially ceramics and numerous amphorae discovered in the Greek and Roman boats sunk in the shipwrecks, off the Vis shores.
